NIGHT IN THE CITY Looks Pretty To Me... - February 4, 2006
THANK YOU to everyone who came out at the midnight hour to make our Joni Mitchell tribute NIGHT IN THE CITY such a special evening. We raised nearly $600 for
KATRINA'S PIANO FUND, which is helping New Orleans musicians get re-equipped with new instruments.
I feel honored to have been surrounded by such great musicians and such a great audience.
A very special thanks to John Kelly for revisiting Joni's persona for us, and to Rockwood Music Hall for letting us play until 4:00 am!

Just played a show with the Amazing Denise Barbarita at Espresso Joe's in Keyport, NJ, right on the watah... it's wicked nice there, and Denise says it's the best coffee on the east coast. I'm sure she's right. Thanks to all who came out to hear our songwriter-in-the-round show... we hope to be back there soon!
Spa weekend in Sala, Sweden - May 29, 2005
I just played a show at a spa/resort called Sätra Brunn in Sala, Sweden, and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone there is so warm and kind. If ever you're in Sweden, take a trip to Sätra Brunn, you won't regret it. :-)
Många tackar och varmasta hälsningar till alla hos Lärandegemenskapen och Janne Forsmark för tillfället att spela min musik här på Sätra Brunn igen. Nu ska vi dansa, eller hur? Helan Går!
Asheville, NC shocked by Trombone/KAYzoo duel - May 9, 2005
Just finished a great triple bill with Elizabeth Dotson-Westphalen and Jennifer Foster in Asheville, North Carolina, at the fabulous Zambra. This was Jenn's debut as a lead vocalist, and she rocked the house, especially with a new funky version of "God Bless the Child". Jenn and Elizabeth joined me on "Holy Man" and "Pink Moon" for some lovely harmonies. And special guest Linda Carney of the New York Metro Mass choir even joined us for a 4-part harmony rendition of "Down to the River". But I have to say that the peak of the evening for me was the trombone/KAYzoo jam. Elizabeth is one hot trombone player, and it's all I can do to keep up, but we accomplished something special and, well, weird. More trombone/KAYzoo music to come soon—we are starting a band called MISS PRISS that will encompass all sorts of music, trombone and KAYzoo included... stay tuned for details.
Butterfly Ball SCO Benefit CD - February 1, 2005
I'm honored to be a part of the Butterfly Ball CD, whose proceeds benefit the SCO Family of Services. This CD is a compilation of music donated by musicians from around the world in support of SCO. It's a true honor to have my song "Eyes So Bright" appear alongside the music of Sara Holtzschue, Rez Abbasi, Andrew Rathbun and Kristin Berardi, among many others.
